September 11, 2001 was just another day - until it wasn’t. Planes taking off from several East Coast airports were transformed into deadly missiles by teams of foreign hijackers, who took aim at America’s financial, military, and political capitals. Civilian and defense air traffic controllers frantically searched for answers as to what was going on as one, two, three, and then four passenger jets were taken over. This podcast tells part of the story of Nine Eleven, capped off by the heroic fight of normal Americans on Flight 93 - which may well have saved my life on that day.
