Will the Alitos be flying the Juneteenth flag today?

Hahahaha, Jon! Perhaps, it will be flown upside down because Juneteenth causes them distress.

1. Thanks for the great follow up on your dad's Oval Office story.

2. Given the dynamics of today's politics, McGovern's response to the Newsday headline is a reminder that things haven't always been like this. I often wonder if the Watergate scandal had trickled out faster if it would have changed things in 1972. It's also frightening to contemplate that if the Trump campaign bugged the Dem HQ and got caught today, he would only gain traction with his base.

"Andrew Millard climbed into the Capitol through a window broken out by rioters"

That's crazy. Didn't he know that the police just opened the doors and welcomed all tourists on that day?

At least, that's what endless numbers of magats who haven't seen any actual video say.

Biden's move to give a pathway to citizenship to who knows how many undocumented people married with citizens reminds me of one of my 2016 Facebook posts.

I think the Ethics Committee re-opening the investigation of Gaetz and Bob Good of Freedom Caucus losing his Primary are related. Trump used Gaetz to disrupt and do his dirty work in House, along with MTG. These useful idiots are no longer as useful, he needs Republicans to unite behind him, so Gaetz gets tossed. Bob Good is a similar problem for him--it wasn't just Good's support of De Santis, I believe. This is the Republicans doing their usual tightening of the ranks. They will be marching in strict formation from now on.

The renaming of military bases added millions to the continuing debt, Most people didn't even know the history of the names and most were union officers before the war...Those millions could have been used for many other more important reasons.

You sound like a guy who's defending traitors to our country, John. Did I get that right?

He said they were Union officers before the war, that’s classic csa fanboy stuff.
