Thank you Jamie. I’m still astonished at the ease with which these people occupied the capitol. There was plenty of warning and the building should have been like a fortress that day. I feel such sadness and anger.

The same guys who yelled at you for jay walking across the Street between Cannon and the Metro or for walking too closely behind a Senator who speaking because it was the only way to get what your boss had asked you for folded like a cheap suit when confronted with a third rate, mostly unarmed mob of Trumpistas.
