So Representative Roy & VP Pence and all the Republicans, many who say: run the Government like a business, refuse to even consider: Revenue Increases as a legitimate alternative. Tax Increases can REDUCE our deficits

Wow, what a mess. Thank you for the dogged coverage, Mr. Dupree. What was most fascinating to me about the CR votes — Elon Musk had more juice with lawmakers than the president-elect. Turns out, a measly $277 mil can buy an immigrant billionaire a shadow presidency. In comparison, Twitter set him back $44 billion.

This is fascinating stuff to watch. It was really quiet in the Speaker's Lobby after the vote yesterday. Republicans know this 118th Congress has been a disaster for them legislatively.

Johnson was whining that Democrats ALWAYS want to raise the debt ceiling, so they’re hypocrites for not voting for it now.

Sure.

But the filthy republicans ALWAYS vote against raising it, and are the actual hypocrites for voting for it now to give carte blanch to the rapist that they fear so much.

Dems only want the ability to run the government and keep our credit… these cowards only want to give unlimited tax cuts to the rich.

“allow Elon Musk to spread disinformation”

There’s no one to stop him. And it’s not disinformation, it’s lies. Amazing how cheap he bought America for, but republicans loved just handing him everything they own, just to own the libs.

(When Republicans took over the House last year, they vowed again and again) - doesn't matter what they "vow" - they're incompetent, they're liars, they're a disgrace. Yes you, Tim Burchett.

Trump has said that he wants the debt limit raised now, so it's Biden's fault. Should Biden say now that he will veto a debt limit increase, and if Trump wants one, he can sign it? That way, pushing the debt limit increase is pushing for a shutdown.
