Yes, that failed economic policy with stock markets at an all time high, low unemployment, wages having outgained inflation every step of the way - and now, inflation dropping below 3%. And what's even worse is economists say all this bad news looks like it's going to continue.

KamalaHQ responding to 45's "press conferences" real-time is quite entertaining.

(Fox News quickly removes their ticker showing the Dow hitting 40,000 after Trump tries to claim the stock market is going to “crash” )https://x.com/KamalaHQ/status/1824191909524373985

That Sasse story has legs, and I look forward to seeing how far it travels.

"Democrats are talking policy - but also having fun. I really think that’s a big part of why things have shifted so much in recent weeks."

I totally agree. I think Americans are getting pretty fed up with the negative, derogatory, revenge oriented rhetoric from Trump and his boot lickers. It seems like a breath of fresh air to see the positive outlook for the future, and future policy decisions being projected by Harris-Walz - with some much needed humor and fun thrown in. (has anyone ever seed Trump laugh?)

I think this is why the GOP is trying so hard to get Trump to change his message, because they see this new optimism and enthusiasm for the Democrats happening right before their eyes, and feel helpless to change it (for good reason!).

Trump's "laugh" is more like a sneer. He uses it to ridicule rather than celebrate.

Thanks for that snippet of the Walz-Harris table-top mutual interview. This is the smartest piece of publicity I have seen in years -- nine minutes, carefully crafted and edited, calculated to grab and hold the attention of anyone who is curious about either or both of them.

Just watched that and posted it to my Facebook page. Really hopeful! Thank you!

I keep coming across complaints that we don't know anything about Kamala, that she needs to be more available to the press, etc. Journalists are salivating for her to participate in a "debate" and have a few encounters with an army of journalists all hoping for another catchy moment that will be "newsworthy".

This "viral moment" world apparently cannot live another day without a steady diet of gotcha encounters to attract another crop of subscribers. My thought is where have they been for the last few decades? Here is a woman soon to be sixty who has been in public life for years, an accomplished professional with sterling legal credentials and electoral success, who has been our vice-president a whole term in Washington and was THE deciding vote in the Senate passing bipartisan legislation that *despite* being crafted in *both* Senate and House was on the verge of being killed because every Republican voted against final passage... we all know the story.

What more does anyone need to know?

It is absolutely about getting their next viral gotcha moment and honestly, most voters are fine without it. There are some in the press corp who cannot wait to try to make her lose her cool by asking petty, disrespectful questions (cough, cough, doocy). And the minute they do get access to her, they will likely just ask questions about their favorite red meat topic (rhymes with rump) making him the story. So how does it benefit her campaign to answer questions when she can just share her message the way that she believes will resonate best with the voters?

This for example would NEVER have occurred during 45’s administration. I personally have no patience for the vultures posing as reporter who want their shot at becoming Insta-famous.

GOP MIA. This event was a perfect example of what I've been talking about - how Republicans are missing the boat right now by being on recess in Congress. Trump MAGA campaign should have hired you instead of bringing back Cory Lewandowski. They are lost and cannot handle their leader.

"Acting a fool" in the past would keep you from office now it seems to be the way to get elected. Not long ago Rep. Anna Paulina Luna would be run out of office, not only the people she represents, but by the House of Representative itself.

Not to mention Boebert and MTG. So much foolishness. And meanness.

“All we have to do is define our opponent as being a communist or a socialist”

Is there even one cultist that still is worried about commies and socialists? Are they seriously that gullible, that stupid, that scared?
