Has anyone seen ANY POLICY STATEMENT from Republicans which will address inflation?

Jamie, thanks for the solid reporting. re: Johnson being a 'dead man walking', wondering what the options are. Can he just lean back and do nothing as the world burns?

I hear Johnson is scuttling on down to Mar-a-Lago pay homage to Trump, but is it really possible for him to sit on his haunches much longer? I suppose it is, Republicans have done nothing with few consequences for their laziness and infighting to date. And there is no doubt Trump is going to instruct Johnson to start another stupid impeachment or scream about inflation and/or immigrants endlessly. Useless stuff, for which, once again, he will pay zero price.

I wonder if Johson rebels and refuses to do Trump's bidding, and MTG brings it to a vote on the floor to depose Johnson, whether Democrats would cut a deal to save his useless hide--would that mean we have a slim chance to have a competent player--Hakeem Jeffries--pulling the strings? Impossible this could ever happen, right?

Johson doesn't care, I am guessing, about his Congressional legacy. He's got the rapture to look forward to, after all.

Two comments:

MRS GREENE OF GEORGIA: Each day I am reminded of her comments in January “I’m kind of sick of the chaos. I came here to be serious about solving problems." She is the biggest contributor to the chaos.

ABORTION: The Biden campaign has come out with an ad featuring Amanda Zurawski, one of the Texas women who nearly died after being denied medical care following a miscarriage. It is very powerful.

That "pure chaos" headline says it all. I'm getting flashbacks to the Sixties (prior to the GOP Republican strategy) when Democrats were the obstructionists. MTG is today's Strom Thurmond.
