He was such a good man, it is appalling that garbage like Rick Scott and Deathsantis have sullied the office.

“Tennis Shoes” is an apt headline for the latest in a long line of stories of men, especially Republican men, disrespecting and underestimating Patty Murray. Some of their bones litter the campaign trail in Washington state. In her last election, it was columnist George Will.

I think everyone elected to Congress needs to stand in front of that statue of Clio and think about their place in history. In 2214 there's going to be a reporter relaying the events of today.

Hi Jamie. Honest question without an agenda, I promise. You have had a January 6 section of the newsletter every day I believe. And I also believe it appears just above the Muse of History section. When do you think you might stop with the January 6 section and have that event become “history” rather than “news”? I enjoy being a subscriber and read you every day.
