Thank you for noting (and linking) Truman's renovation of the White House. I recall reading about that some time ago but I didn't know about the charred remnants of the British torching in 1814.
oh don't worry, there will be Russia material in Monday's newsletter. Who knows where this is going. The short term could be that Russia will take its eye off of Ukraine. There are already reports of new gains by Ukraine's armed forces in several areas. We'll see how it plays out.

You don’t think the House investigation of Santos is to drag it out as long as possible to help them with their slim majority?
Anything is possible. But I don't remember ever seeing an update statement like this from the Ethics Committee.
