You're spot-on with Harris' historic run not being a focal point for the press. The only time I really heard it referenced was by commentators on the night of her convention speech. Harris rising to the top of the ticket has introduced a dose of adrenaline into this campaign I haven't seen since '08. Reproductive rights are a big part of it as well. When you strip millions of people of their bodily autonomy, they're not just going to forget about it. Plus, DJT reminding us daily on his Dollar Tree Twitter of his well-documented history of misogyny isn't helping him with the suburban women (the ones outside his cult) he needs to win.

About a month ago, he gave a conference at Mar-a-Largo, and when asked about that vote in November, he said he has already planned a press conference where he’ll explain how he plans to vote. In two weeks from that point.
Trump is not Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, he's just Pro-Trump. Whichever position gets him votes is the one he'll go with at that time.
