I seem to recall reading in some previous editions of ‘Regular Order’ that bills were being quietly killed, ostensibly, by Mike Johnson and never making it over to the senate.
What would be the drawback of including language prohibiting that sort of thing?

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is also running for a Senate nomination, just from the Democratic side. Is she showing up to work? I'm supporting her opponent, plus the Democrats need all the votes they can get, so I'm happy for her to stay in DC. But it is hard to campaign and do your job at the same time.
